New Spoken word track

Tribute to College by Liberty Makuyana
This is a spoken word track by the Bestselling Author Liberty Makuyana centered on what could have been his college experience and what actually was his college experience. In this poetic track, he is using college to portray life as a whole and the very essence of salvation and how it can come in any way. He is encouraging those who have made their fair share of mistakes whilst warning those who are yet to embark on new journeys.
The level of poetry and word play in this track is quite amazing. May this work touch your spirit and create a desire for the greater things in life.
Thank you for listening.

MSU STUDENT REACHES FOR THE SKY BY THE ZIMBABWE MAIL

It seems like there is no stopping for young author,  Liberty Makuyana, who has scored a first by publishing books while still at university.
The author has already co-authored a book with Jonah Nyoni and other United States-based authors.
Makuyana, a fourth year student at Midlands State University, is on the verge of publishing his second masterpiece titled: Success within reach.
It is a self-developmental book premised on Christian principles  and is meant to emancipate people from financial bondage.
Speaking with Th
e Zimbabwe Mail, Makuyana said the book features some important quotations from authors who mostly dealt  with motivational discipline.
“The main aim of my book is to enhance man’s ability not by telling them what to do but rather by placing a platform for man to realise his own capabilities in the world,” he said.
“I want this nation and the world at large to appreciate that purpose supresses all man-made doctrines about success for them to realise that it is what God commissioned them to do.”
He also said his intention was to encourage other youths that there was no age restriction with regards the writing of books.
In a recent publication, Makuyana  shares pages with great authors such as Stem Mahlatini, who is currently based in the United States, Ferdinard Lawson from the United Kingdom, Arthur Marara, also a renowned author, speaker and lawyer Simbarashe Nyamadzawo, Cynthia Hakutangwi and Patson Dzamara, Sir Jonah Nyoni of Success Life, among many others.
In 2013, when Liberty was a second year student, he released his first Christian motivational book titled: Going against the world for the world,  making him one of Zimbabwe’s youngest professional authors.

MSU STUDENT PUBLISHES MOTIVATIONAL BOOK BY THE SOUTHERN EYE

The 127-page book is titled Going Against the World for the World and is about humanity’s emancipation from the worldly system.
Makuyana (20) told Southern Eye Lifestyle the book touches on tradition, culture and unwritten laws which bind people from living the life that God intended for them.
“This is a Christian motivational book which mainly talks of how one can change the world by first changing themselves,” Makuyana said.
“The world has a certain direction in which it points every individual. Some people are told that it is better to be an accountant than to be a musician and others are told that one can only write a book in their elderly years.
These are the perceptions that the world has and this is what people should go against. Once one has gone against all binding factors and followed their purpose, the world will then follow with the revelation of success in all fields as long as God purposed you to walk that road, no matter the level of resistance on the road,” Makuyana said.
He revealed that he was motivated by what the author saw in families, churches, schools and various organisations.
“I see people forsaking their dreams and abandoning their talents because of either the economic, social, political or even technical environment. I then knew that the revelation I have, had to be imparted to the world in the form of a book, that purpose paves a way and no matter the conditions and situations which may prevail, the most important and greatest thing to ever do is what God placed in your heart,” Makuyana said.
The Chitungwiza-born Makuyana is also a motivational speaker, entrepreneur and accountant. He is currently studying towards a degree.

MSU STUDENT WRITES MOTIVATIONAL BOOK by ZBC website

A 20 year old student at the Midlands State University Liberty Makuyana (pictured) has written a Christian motivational book that addresses some of the challenges that face society today.

The book titled:˜Going Against the World €™ is about humanities emancipation from the worldly system as he takes the reader through the 127-page book.

It opens with a quote from an unknown writer which says every little microsecond in life culminates in one big event. Do not count the seconds until something big happens. Live the seconds.

The author said the book talks about tradition, culture, and unwritten laws which bind people from living the life that God intended for them.

In the book, Makuyana looks at how people pursue academic degrees, better jobs and even fall into marriages and lifestyles which the world suggests are right.

The book motivates people of various age groups on how to deal with different situations and challenges in life with chapters such as living for the truth and culture or Christ.
